薄壁套圈轴承精度高、非常安静以及承载能力很强。这些球轴承有三种设计，并且极端的小、横截面大多为正方形。在这些系列中，即使是更大的轴直径和轴承孔，横截面也保持不变。这些轴承因此称为等截面(CS)。正是这个特性将标准ISO系列中的薄壁套圈轴承与传统的轴承区别开来。
